Hi there, i’m trying to fit v-brakes on my 95 Kona Kilauea. For rear, i taught of using the inside of a noodle to go into the orognal seat collar cable guide and have the larger hole fit the housing feom the rear brake.
Is it safe to ride? 🤔😅
Looking forward for your advice.

That’s one neat fit for the cable guide there. Keep in mind that if you are using too much cable housing on the brake side of the V-Brake, you will have trouble setting up the brakes due to housing tension. Looks neat. But how do you set up the engagement in the front?
There’s no shame in running full length housing and a few cable ties
That won’t work. The noodle faces the other way and sits much closer to the brake.
