Picked up the used Marin DSX 2 today. The Nukeproof Digger I really wanted sold before I could get there. The good: price, gearing (1x, 10-51t 12sp), virtually unused. The less good: not tubeless, flatbar.
I'll ride it for a while then get a much nicer bike in 6-18 months. Hopefully sell for close to what I paid by then. If I wear out the tires before I upgrade bikes I can convert to tubeless when I replace them (yes, i know i probably will need new rims too). Might look into drop bars this summer, though with a Deore drivetrain I'm not sure if there's brifters that work. Probably, but not certain yet.

FWIW, the DSX is the same frame as Marin’s X10/11, so of you feel like converting to drop bars at some point, the geometry won’t feel out of whack. The rear wheel being Microspline 12 speed makes it easy to swap to the new GSX group. Also, I’m pretty sure the stock wheels/tires are tubeless compatible, you just may have to tape them up. Or you could swap them out pretty easily with the abundance of 2nd hand wheelsets around right now.
I personally think this is a great frame to slowly upgrade and customize, or ride totally how it is. Enjoy the ride!
Flat bar gang stand upppppp!!!!!!
I have a 2024 Marin dsx 1, great bike, very practical.
