  1. Congrats! I haven’t owned a specialized bike in years but I’ve got their power mimic saddles on both my bikes and swear by them. Their off road tires are great too.

Great that you found something that works! I found a saddle that suits me well completely by accident. I had never really loved the the long, skinny, almost no channel or cutout saddles that a lot of bikes came with. Then I picked up a CAAD13 that had a prologo dimension and that saddle was a game changer! Very similar to your specialized and I know have the carbon version on two bikes and the ndr (slightly more cushion) on my gravel bike!

  3. I have two power saddles and they’re amazing but what works for us, may not work for others.

The Specialized power just looks so wide at the waist that I feel like I’d find it uncomfortable.

The pressure relief channel is what you were lacking in the old one for sure. They make a massive difference in comfort.

  5. Same saddle as mine lol. I got thick butt (as a dude) from my genetics and squatting & deadlifting in the gym. Those Specialized saddles are the few options available on the market as 168 mm wide to provide enough support for me. Kinda expensive, but I never regretted the investment.

  6. Yep people think padding will help when it is usually the saddle. Note if the saddle is the right width and geometry you should be able to ride on it with normal shorts if you choose to. If you keep telling yourself I need to get better padding or are not adjusting after like a week double check your saddle.
