Replacing the worn bearing on my MTB suspension. I have a bearing puller and press.
My question is with these spacers that stick on the outside of the linkage. They are not connected to the bearing.
Do they press out with the bearing? Are they on a separate groove? My worry is the spacer is designed to remain in place and if I push the whole thing out and I going to snap something?

Bike is 2023 Marin alpine btw…I couldn’t quite tell from the diagrams and honestly looks like Marin’s website is going skeleton for parts and reference material unfortunately
You pull them out, then press the bearing out.
Why not pull the bearing from the outside of the linkage rather than press it? Looks like there is enough of a groove for your bearing puller collets. That way you can see what going on in your linkage between the bearing and the spacer.
