hello! I am new here, apologies if this is not the correct type of post. I am looking for a basic appraisal range for my road bike. it has around 20k miles on the frame, and less than 1k miles on the drive train. Brakes and wheels are what came with the bike – tektro and vision.

Thats a lot of miles. It all depends where are you located and how hot is bike market. I would say this is around $600-$850 bike
If you have the time the best thing you can do is watch your local resale markets for a few weeks. That is a pretty clean looking 11 speed carbon fiber rim brake bike. A little time with some 000 or 0000 steel wool on the rust is probably increases the purchase price by 50-100 USD. Some Dawn or grease cutting soap on the bar tape may take the worst of the grunge off it. 50/50 if you would get your money back from re-taping. If you can take care of the few cosmetic issues, I agree with No-Ingenuity 600-850 USD.

This is in the Bay Area, which has a very active market. I figure I could reasonably find a Litespeed enthusiast who is willing to look past some of the low end components and cosmetics.
I’m not looking to hyper optimize, just trying to see what I should expect from haggling.

I think you could do a little better in your local market than others have suggested. Maybe start off at a grand or $1,200. It’s a nice looking bike with good components.
