We have put two more drug dealers from Swindon behind bars following an investigation by our Swindon Local Policing Tasking Team (LPTT).

On October 10, we received information that a wanted male was in Eldene along with three other males wearing balaclavas and riding modified e-bikes and Surrons.

The group were tracked to the back garden of a property in Dickens Close, where they were found huddled and attempting to get into the garage.

The males were detained for a stop and search. Class A drugs were subsequently found in rucksacks which had been thrown onto the roof of the garage, as well as £4,000 in cash.

Kenzie Cobb, 21, formerly of Islandsmead, Eldene, and Leo Morris, 20, formerly of Henry Street, Swindon, were both arrested, charged and remanded into custody.

In a hearing at Swindon Crown Court on Tuesday (13/01), Morris pleaded guilty to supplying crack cocaine and heroin, possession of cannabis and driving without insurance and otherwise than in accordance with a licence and was jailed for four years and one month.

Cobb admitted being concerned in the supply of cannabis, driving without insurance and otherwise than in accordance with a licence. A 16-month suspended sentence order was activated, plus a further 16-month sentence, giving a total of 32 months imprisonment.

Around £4,000 cash was also secured through the Proceeds of Crime Act.

PC 2067 Guy from the LPTT said: “We know that drug dealing is often associated with serious violence on our streets and we are determined to show there is no place for it in Swindon and Wiltshire.

“We will continue to work proactively to identify and target those responsible and bring them to justice.

“If you have any information about drug supply in Swindon or the wider county then please report it by calling 101 or using the online reporting form on our website.

“Alternatively, you can report anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

  1. What is the quality of the cocaine, what percentage of the powder is cocaine? As far as I heard, cocaine nowadays is of very poor quality, it can be sniffed instead of paracetamol when you feel unwell

  2. I'm sorry, but this is totally strange, seeing police officers only armed with Tasers. Criminals don't take that seriously at all. Why does England proceed like this? The police must be able to protect the people properly and appropriately. It's crazy.

  3. Disgusting threat to use tasers. They need to have them removed. Tasers should ONLY be used in the face of lethal weapons and other specific reasons NOT routine arrests.. Take their tasers away they are not fit to have them. Lazy unlawful threat of force. Sue.

  4. Lol a bit of flower and some whack drugs and you’re acting as if they’re murderers. Literal killers in London with weapons and there’s nothing being done. UK is done for
