**Hello,**
I have the [Brompton C line (URBAN) bike](https://www.brompton.com/p/824/c-line-urban-23), which I have enjoyed for the past few months now.. One thing I don’t like about the bike is the gear ratio. The urban bike has 2 gear with the following configuration:
**Front**
* **54T chainring**
**Rear**
* **12T high**
* **16T low**
When I switch to the high gear on a flat ride, it feels like I’m climbing a hill all the time, even when I’m riding on the lower gear about to spin out.
I’ve seen many advice to replace the chainring to a lower ratio, however this would mean I would need to also reduce the chain length and it would also affect the lower gear.
**Is it possible to just simply replace the Sprocket to a 14T? Or does anyone have any other suggestions?**
