Hello all, I’m a new NEW cyclist (like just learned how to ride a bike and I’m on day 4 as an adult) and am trying to work on and fix my own bike. I got a cheap Walmart one since I knew I would bust, wreck, and repair my own bike from day one.

I’ve got an issue here with the seat pole slipping down the post and I can not for the life of me get it out. I’ve tried using a silicone spatula( too tight on the sides), needle pliers (too far down to grip it), a metal long hook (can’t get to the bottom to hook on), and even a plastic drain snake.

I’m going to purchase some PB blaster but if anyone knows any other way before I take it to a bike shop, I’d love to hear it
