hey guys! looking for input from canyon grizl owners.
Right now a canyon grizl 7 raw is my top contender for a new gravel bike. I have a lot of dirt and crushed limestone rail trails around me, so I was leaning towards a gravel bike over an endurance bike.
I was using 99 spokes to compare geometries, and the canyon grizl geometry is shown to be significantly more aggressive and less relaxed than other similar bikes.
My question is to Grizl riders – do you find this to be the case? is this bike less comfortable than other similar bikes you have ridden? Do you find that the riding position is preventing you from completing longer rides without significant discomfort?
I'm just getting into more endurance-focused riding, and I don't want bike discomfort to be the thing sto
thank you!

I think you’re overthinking it. Comfort would depend more on how the bike fits you, your tires size and psi
I had the rove and was way too relaxed for me (coming from an MTB background, not even road). Then moved to a grail AL, wich is discontinued and very similar to the grizzl, and found it just fine. Not too agressive but more speed oriented. I sold it because I wanted something more sporty, i found that the grail could be a good comfortable, commuting, do it all bike
in comparison with other Gravel bikes in the market, Grizl isn’t as relaxed as any other typical non-race Gravel bike, as shown here. however the keys to getting the comfort on the bike is the components dialing and fitting after getting the right frame size for you, which is a bit challenging for any Canyon bike as it is a direct-to-consumer bike company. but I strongly recommend a bikefit session before purchase, to get your best and most comfortable geometry and component size, without commiting big money on bike purchase yet. measure twice cut once, as they said.
I’m riding Grizl 6 Raw and no complaints about comfort yet. Although I haven’t gone more than 10-12 miles each ride.
Rode their Allroad a couple times and it had a nice setup that was a bit more relaxed Endurance feel. Had to return due to shipping damage. Allroad felt like the faster downhill gravel was a bit too much on the stability. If you’re just doing rail trails the Allroad is a good option. Hills and gravel climbs I’d look at Grizl.
