For about a tenth of a mile, the Cycling Through Water bike path in Bokrijk Park creates the illusion of riding through two divided seas, with its straight lines contrasting the natural environment. The path is nearly five feet submerged, bringing cyclists eye level with the water, allowing for close encounters with wildlife, like ducks, during summer, and reflections of the sky on the pond’s surface in winter.
