Spent some time converting it into a fixie and took it out for its first ride this morning—and I’m absolutely in love.
Running 52/16 (3.25:1). This is my first fixie, so there’s definitely a bit of a learning curve, but the ride was incredible. Super responsive, feels powerful, and way more engaging than riding it as a vintage road bike with friction shifters.
Easily one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time—and my wife definitely thinks it only cost me $25 all said and done. Hahahaha.
