Starting in Gruissan, I’ll show you the iconic Gruissan Plage with its famous stilted houses and the scenic Salin de l’île Saint-Martin. With seafood restaurants offering delicious meals starting around €20, this coastal gem is a must-see!
Next, we head to Narbonne, where you can visit the impressive Narbonne Cathedral and stroll through Les Halles, the vibrant market filled with local delicacies. I’ll also share tips on visiting the nearby Narbonne Plage for some relaxation by the sea. Prices for a meal here are generally between €15-25.
Finally, we’ll visit the medieval fortress of Carcassonne, a UNESCO World Heritage site that feels like stepping back in time. I’ll walk you through the cobbled streets of La Cité and recommend some great spots to enjoy a traditional cassoulet, with meals averaging around €25-30.

Love Carcassonne, it’s great to stay in one of the two Chateaus there and the main city square is fun with live music and places to eat. And they have river cruises too!
