  1. I watched a video of different motorcycle locks being defeated. It was set on a public street, in front of houses and with multiple people walking by. Most of the devices were defeated within 30 seconds using a battery operated angle grinder with a cutting wheel. Only one device that had a protective coating designed to dull cutting blades/wheels gave any sort of fight. Even then they used a portable generator and a corded grinder and cut through it in about a minute. Worst part was that nobody payed any attention to them. Alarms going off, power tools being used to cut security devices off a motorcycle and people just kept on walking, minding their own business. Nobody called the police or even bothered to ask what they were doing.

That's when I decided to buy a cheap lock to keep the honest people honest and hidden gps tracker in the hopes of at least being able to recover if stolen.

  2. I’ve got one of those disc locks, in 2 pieces after some scroats tried to nick my bike. Neighbours door cam pick up the moment they broke it with 1 hammer blow. Fortunately i also had a abus victory 68 which held up until they were scared of by people. I’ve upgraded the alarm lock to a zovii 10s which has a great revue from bennetts trying to destroy it.

  3. My brand new Xmax has been stolen and I’m rider from 14 years now I was parked front of my house 🏠 without security but trust me now I make more then 6 device on the bike lol good luck

  4. 😂 alarms going off dont make a difference at all unless you can hear it then its useless bit of noise your neighbours wont care that the alarm is going off how many times have you gone out side or checked when your neighbours car alarm is going off i have a guess its zero they will be sat their and think a cat or a bit of wind has set it off. I had 2 of them locks on and locked in a garage they was still able to take my bike without making a sound motorbike thieves most of the time aint your average thief who pops to tesco and steals they know what they are doing and have the tools and knowledge to get that lock off in seconds all the locks do is slow them down slightly most will think it will take too much time and its not worth it to them they will move on to the next bike but some see it as a challenge and a thrill to get your bike if someone wants your bike that bad they are going to get it.
