Hi!
i bought an Elite qubo trainer for my son to ride indoors with his bike. The issue is that his BMC mtb bike has these weird flanges in the rear dropout so the included Elite qr is too short and the trainer locking system hits the frame. In other words I need longer 5mm dia. skewer so I can have the skewer ends more out so the trainer fits better. I tried with spacers but then the QR wont tighten enough/reliably.

Does anyone have knowledge about longer skewers? Current is 190mm from the 'handle end" to the end of axle.

I have a longer skewer that came with my road bike for the front wheel, not sure how common they are but I bet they’re out there. I could be wrong but I think there’s a bunch of bike models that have this issue with trainer compatibility for similar reasons, longer skewers with spacers may fix this but I’d be cautious.
Edit: I should mention my road bike has rim brakes too
