  1. Assuming you’re in USD, $700 is probably what this bike sold for when new. This seller is out of their mind asking anywhere near that, so I’d just walk away.

  2. I’m sorry, but this looks exactly, other than the downward handles, like my 300-400€ bike from a German online shop, 8 years ago, new.

I wouldn’t pay more than 150 for it.

Why did you even look at it, with such a price tag?
I can’t see anything really special about it.

I usually just offer what it’s worth to me. If they say no then I tell them to hit me up if they change their mind. Usually works out.

    Hard pass.

There’s nothing worse than a low end bike that hasn’t been maintained, you’ll resent every repair you’ll have to do. Keep looking.

250 tops. But you’ll need another 250 in maintenance, minimum so now you’re in for 500. Now you’re hovering at the price of a brand new polygon Strattos.

  6. Just be mindful that several brands, including Giant have eco lines and I’d look up the blue book value online right there in front of them then deduct whatever repairs are needed to make it tuned and ready to ride out.
