The Grands Prix in the summer (13 and 14 June) will be the first time Grands Prix have been held at this stadium, where the track design was driven by Chris Morton a legendary overtaking rider from the 80s. It is going to be amazing. This is just a foretaste – three of these riders will be in the GP along with the world's best riders giving it 100% for the first time ever on this track. If you haven't already got your tickets, get them now, they are almost sold out.
(I was at this match and it was amazing, many of the heats were like this too, and by the end I almost couldn't believe what I'd seen).
'Best race in speedway history ??' Do me a favour. It's a good race (which would have been won by Bewley and not the German if Dan hadn't hit the fence twice when he hit the front,) but calling it the best race ever is wildly exaggerating the case. Jesus's wept there are 2 better races in the '81 Wembley World Final.
I watched the live broadcast of this entire program and have rewatched coutless YT replays of this race. This is the first POV vid of this race that I've seen. What a treat. Thank you!
