Same happened to me while in Spain, I went to a car mechanic place. There they welded it for me which worked fine (I did have a steel frame).

Yeah you need it welded back on.
Short of that I would go buy some 2 part epoxy. Jam a stick, rock or piece of random metal (that fits perfectly) in between your two drop out mounts. 2 part epoxy everything in the mess together. Then ya gotta let it dry for 24 hours.

Mount the rack to the fender mounts temporarily until you can find a welder.
Good Luck enjoy the ride!

Is that an All City Space Horse? The [same exact thing happened ](https://imgur.com/a/9iKvELo)to me while riding on Japanese sidewalks. Luckily I was able to use the lower eyelet and it survived the rest of the trip.

When this happened to me I used some wire found on the side of the road to hold things together for the remaining 500km.

Mount it on the other eyelet and pray it will hold up.

Doesn’t look like it was the sturdiest eyelet / rack mount to start with. That frame almost looks like it just has double mud-guard eyelets…

Hopefully you’re touring somewhere that Flex Tape is available.

Put it throught the fender outlet. It will ride fine for a while. I had my screw snap inside on tour and used zip ties all over and last 3000 km. Not a tour ender dont worry.

If it’s steel that’s a very simple fix. Anyone can weld that for about $10.

This happened to me in central Germany. Have you got money to see a mechanic?

Looks like you fixed the rack to the mudguard mount. Try attaching to the lower hole.

This happened to me on both sides. I have a steel frame and just got them welded in the middle of nowhere but one side broke again so I just used three zipties to hold the lug back on to the seat stay. Had no more problems after than even after thausands of km on the Pamir Highway and further into Kyrgyzstan.

Lots of welding/gluing/etc suggestions, but the fender eyelet is probably the best temporary choice unless the rack won’t reach that far.
A p-clamp around the bottom of the seat stay might also be a good option. A bike shop should have one.

Dont give up!
Few strong zip ties could fix this temporarily until you find a better solution.

That’s why you bring duct tape

I had something like this happen to me on tour. Cable ties got me far enough to get it fixed.
