I was watching and thought MVDP would go solo from lap 4 and on surely he won't do it from lap 1.. untill he did it…
It is a serious competition. But you still like seeing this kind of nice sportsmanship and fun cycling.

Whether he is scheduled to start way ahead of the season, or starts last minute: he attacks from the last lap or the first… rain, snow, sun… what does it even matter? MVdP is creating a wild legacy in CX, let alone the rest of his incredibly illustrious career. Breathtaking. His rivals can only nod their heads in admiration, knowing they raced in the time of Mattieu.
