Made some updates to my partner’s early 80s Specialized Expedition. Rebuilt wheels with tubeless rims, 7 speed to 10 speed, and changed from bottom bracket dynamo to hub. Still has the original flag cranks and first generation XT cantis.
That’s a lovely build. Those old Expeditions are great bikes.

Wow, is this 700c? I didn’t even know Specialized made a steel frame with canti brakes. This is awesome.

Is that really the best way to route your shifter cables from the bars? Genuinely asking because I’m about to install bar ends for the first time and I assumed I’d be routing them all the way under the bar tape
