Purchased this on 1/1 at 12:15am so I could use my FSA. This is a splurge for me. My previous bikes came from toys r us when I was a kid and a used Denali (Walmart brand) that I got from Craigslist.
The I’ve ridden the bike close to 100 miles in the last week on a mixture of asphalt, single track, and gravel roads in the South Bay Area. The WTB seat that came with the bike has little to no cushion and my taint is not equipped to handle the bumps. I swapped it out with a cheap vivo seat that I got from rei and it’s been better so far. Just need to desensitize the seat bones.

But what kind of deal and build did you get on the cone?
Looks awesome, what a great bike!!
If that new seat works for you, that’s great. However, a decent pair of bib shorts paired with a hard seat of the correct width (ie one that is the right size for your sit bone width) can be the most comfortable of all options and require very little “desensitizing”. I might recommend some neopro bibs with the original seat. Or bibs with any seat!
