Seller doesn’t how big the frame is but that number means it’s a size medium I think? It’s 16” from the bottom bracket to the top post and 26” from the ground to the top post. I’m 5’3, 120lb, with around a 27inch inseam.
The bike is a Trek 7.2 FX selling for $150.

I think a 17.5 might be too big. I’m about 5’10 with a 30″ inseam and was on an 18″ for a while. I got that at a Trek store, so we had done some measuring and trying different sizes. It was an 820 entry level mountain bike, so the geometry might be a little different. It was classified as a Medium-Large frame.
Though who knows, maybe you’d like the feel of it.
edit: typo
Road frames and MTB/Hybrid frames use a different sizing method.
On a ruler, 17.5” and 44.5 mm are equal, but to a bike frame they mean TWO DIFFERENT sizes.
17.5 would be good for someone around 5’8”, while 44.5cm is meant for someone 4’11”
Don’t try to figure out why the industry does this, it’s dumb but it’s what we got to deal with.
TREK should have never put both numbers on the frame.
This frame appears to be shorter, but the reach (saddle to handlebar) is long.
If you can test ride the bike, and your legs are long enough to comfortably pedal, then perhaps a sweep back handlebar can make the bike a perfect fit.
But I don’t know. Maybe you got short legs and a long reach and it’s fine. Or maybe the opposite (long legs and a short reach) and it’s wrong.
Test ride it.
Rest rides are the fitting rooms of bike shops. Try it on.
