What are these? I picked them up as a second set of tires, they were partially studded and I figured I would finish it off and have a cheap set for the winter.
I can’t find anything online about this tire, it doesn’t seem to exist. All Nate’s I can find are 3.8 and 60-120tpi, nothing 4.0 and 27tpi.
On the bead it reads “made by Inova” are these a fake?
They also have a really weird “stud” in them that looks concave on one end but has just like regular screw thread on the other side, the tires were drilled to accept these “studs”. Wish I had a picture of them to post now as I also can not find this type of stud anywhere. They are not the typical “screw in” type that I can find.
I think my reality here is that these tires are in great shape, the studs are bogus and should be removed and I should use these as summer tires on tube rims. I paid very little for them and they are in slightly better shape than the Jumbo Jims I am currently rolling on.
