I’d read about the walk from Nice to Monaco before though it seemed most people can’t read a map as they took the normal road route – which actually on the way back using the coast was ok. Easy = just use #googlemaps The cycle path helps and majority I found with little traffic. However getting to Monaco I highly recommend the route up from Mont Boron and via the corniche to Eze, then Turbie. After Turbie you can drop down into Monaco. Majority of this route was roadside but with excellent views and no traffic – majority cyclists – as it is part of the Tour de France course. A number of places can stop ( which I didn’t ) such as Eze or Turbie for a coffee or boulangerie. Eze, though scenically beautiful in the old village, to me was very touristy and cringeworthy so – happy I was there early and when empty ( the next day stopped by driving and it was busy with tours ). Turbie different but much more natural. Monaco is Monaco – European version of HK but cleaner (smaller and wealthier LoL). Coastal route back passes through some nice spots too – road traffic a little heavier near Beaulieu-sur-mer – though there a good spot to stop too. Definitely a good walk and if I had longer I’d do more walks up near Eze and Turbie as I got spot some interest trails. Beautiful views too.
