Actually stayed 3 days, this is the 1st 24 hours. Join me on a delightful stroll through the streets of Paris, experiencing its charm and beauty. See my initial links with the local atmosphere and famous landmarks. This snapshot captures the essence of a dreamy summer, Paris day and night. Enjoy the nightlife and some french food at charming cafés.
We arrived using the city’s metro system which was ok. But we mainly used Uber for ease of getting around. In following videos, you can see how the Hop on Hop off bus is ideal in getting to see the city in the following days.
So for now, these photos capture a small essence of the city, including a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower. The Hotel Rochester in Champs Elysees was excellent. A few streets back from the main promende of Champs Elysees – so nice and quiet. It is known for its theatres, cafés, and luxury shops; as the finish of the Tour de France cycling race; and for its annual Bastille Day parade.
