Hey all, my bike is 1 year old with about 3000 miles. I’m taking advantage of the winter weather to do some maintenance. I plan on changing out the shifter cables. My question is regarding the clear housing that is on the front derailleur cable. Is this normal housing, ie can I replace it with the standard shimano housing that comes in the road cable kit. It looks like it runs all the way through the top tube. Any advice?

Yes, it’s normal housing. I’ve found that Canyon cable housing is a bit thinner than normal off the shelf housing, but haven’t tried the Shimano brand (mine is black)
