Hi everyone! Beginner rider here (75 kg). My Fox Float X on a Cube Stereo ONE77 e-bike has only 380 km (47 hours of use). I’ve only done light riding, no jumps or technical trails, which is why I'm so disappointed…this is an enduro bike built for much tougher terrain.
I noticed a loud squelching/sloshing noise lately. I was running 190 PSI, but I bumped it up to 210 PSI to see if it makes a difference . The main issue is that the blue lever (Firm mode) doesn't hold anymore. It's not locking out like it did when it was brand new; it feels very soft even when closed.
I took it to the shop yesterday and they said they’ll contact Fox and hope it gets accepted under warranty. It feels bizarre that a high-end enduro shock failed so quickly under beginner use. Has anyone else experienced this?
Video attached so you can hear the noise.
Thanks

  1. There is gas that made it into the oil side of the shock. Now the oil is aerated and the shock can no longer function properly. It will need a rebuild.

Edit: This is a somewhat common thing. It happened to me last season and has happened to my buddy a few times.
