I need help. My Shimano MT420 bike brake lever keeps making this awful sound. Everything was fine up until I left the bike overnight at the LBS and since then this noise has appeared.. The bike shop said they tried lubricating the lever already. What can I do? Should I toss the bike in trash and get a new bike?
In all seriousness, I have no idea which lubrication I should use. Is there a way to take these levers apart? On a side note… this brake lever keeps getting spongy and I have brought it into the LBS twice for a bleed. Im wondering if maybe there is a leak somewhere as well. Much appreciate the help!
Awful Shimano Brake Lever Squeak. LBS couldn’t fix it, asking community for guidance.

Put a drop of lube on the pivots. Those levers are rather inexpensive. Labor to replace would be the biggest expense, if you can’t fix it.
