This is a Sram APEX 12s drivetrain that came with my Crux DSW. When it was new it was already making some noise on gears 8 and 9, after some time I put a new cassette and chain and the noise went away for a while. Then, after maybe 1000km it started to come back, now it makes noise on gears 4 to 9 (included). I just put a new chain on it since the previous one was already at the .8% wear specified by Sram. This time I used a KMC chain that is waxed and specific for Sram flat top drivetrains, and the noise is still there, plus it's skipping on the 11 and 12 cogs (will try soon with an official Sram chain to see if it's skipping also).
Any idea on how to get rid of this noise?
And, any recommendation for alternative cassettes that will work with the APEX 12s derailleur?

If its with KMC chain rn I gonna change it too SRAM 12 speed chain, if could be your chain goes not so well on front chainring
Check cassette tightness, check bb. Does it shift fine in a bike stand? Does it only make noise when you are on the bike?
I would make sure to tighten all the thru axles, I had a similar problem
