My crank puller doesn't fit through the cranks on the bike I have just bought. The space that the pusher (?if that's what it's called) needs to fit through is about 11.8 mm. The pusher has a slightly larger diameter of 12.0 mm.
Has anyone bought a crank puller recently that has a narrower pusher, that they could recommend for me to buy? I live in the UK.

There is usually a piece that plugs into the open part at the top, that gives you options of different sizes.

Not recommended but I’ve used another bolt of smaller size instead. Worked twice, failed twice. Your luck / mileage may vary. Good luck
I usually just find something that’ll fit in the aperture to push against: small coins, washers, nuts, etc.
