Pretty sure they are. The staple ones in my city are a little thicker and have a narrower span, but basically that’s how they look. I like that kind,especially if it’s set directly into concrete rather than bolted. (But I like securely bolted ones too. Concrete set ones are just especially nice.)

Yes they are, but why not just take your bike inside your work? Don’t ask, make someone tell you no.
yes, get a u-lock, can put bike at angle or flat
Happy commuting, all mine (up to 14 miles each way) have been faster by bike than car during rush hour
