I work at a bike shop and as an intro to working with e-bikes my boss had me solder new connections to random stuff we had lying around to turn this sick old Trek into an ebike. I have only put about $200 into it and that was mostly from the racks alone lol. I have been using it as my cargo commuter for a few months now and it feels incredible actually.

Yup. You took a perfectly adequate x-bike and slapped an electric motor on it to make it one of the best kinds of ebikes.

Looks like a ton of fun.
Remember you can turn and xbike into an ebike, but you can’t turn and ebike into an xbike.
I lean my x-bike against my ebike, if that counts as close.
