I'm putting together a 24" SE for pump track and (casual) racing use. I am building it out of a combination of old junk parts. The stock sprocket is a 39T, but I just wanted to see if a 43T would fit. It does fit, but there is very little clearance. Its not hitting the chainstay, but it's close. Would you guys advise against running a larger sprocket?

That’s definitely fine, that’s honestly not even close. I’ve run mine so close the sprocket scraped the paint off the frame.
