I mostly ride fixed gear or singlespeed but i decided to put 9 speed on my bike and the ammount of money i had to mostly waste by buying new chains, cassettes that wore way too fast and derailleurs, i could’ve spent to build 2 or 3 more xbices.
My riding style it’s just not compatible with derailleurs. if you see something you know you have to jump it.
