  1. It's interesting to see your average speed, at around 18 km/h is not that different to mine when I am commuting on an e-bike in London! Takes me about 26 minutes to go 8.85 km, so roughly 20 km/h on average. I would put this down to how you few times you have to come to a full stop. My route is one that involves fewer traffic lights than most (using Cycleway 27 as it passes through Islington is a particular delight) but I pass through 10 junctions with traffic lights on my way into work. And it's rare that I arrive at one of them with a green light.

  2. 00:48 a narrow path leads to a wide bridge… In the video where you cycled the other way, you can see that if there is someone walking/biking to the bridge, there is little room left for a bike to pass. But there is room enough to 'repair' this little fault. Crossing at 01:36 should be raised for cars! Nice video again! We get a lot of bike rides through the Netherlands on Youtube through this way. Time for a website with a list!

  3. Intresting to see the contrast in the old Lelystad in first section – with one very long completely straight streets and loads of the same repeating houses – and the new Lelystad in the second part – with more winding cycle lanes and modern varying architecture.
