Today we leave Mèze for a road trip to Gruissan. A cold, biting wind makes us wrap up warm with beanies and scarves, but we won’t let that stop us! We visit the local market before climbing the stairs to Château de Gruissan and the iconic Tour Barberousse.
After descending and visiting the church of Notre-Dame de l’Assomption, we walk along the outer ring of the old center towards Étang de Gruissan, where we can see the Pyrenees in the distance. We return to the camper area via the canal that leads to the Mediterranean Sea and the harbor. We end our day with a delicious lunch made from our
