  1. Recently rode in Mallorca and Girona. Tons of great shops and rentals in both but Girona is more concentrated. Castelli just opened their first brick and mortar and chose Girona, which they feel is the international centre for cycling.

  2. I wish the US was as as walkable as this. Truly an underdeveloped and frankly, embarrassing, nation in terms of urban planning.

  3. They are so boutiquey, hard to imagine how they stay in business with so many in the area, seems like many of them are a retirement hobby . They are very artsy and classy looking, thanks for taking us along.

  4. And to top it all off, spanish drivers are generally very careful with cyclist. It is the safest place I've felt on the road, drivers actually follow the law of keeping 1,5m away from cyclists who, bytheway, are allowed to ride side by side. Maybe everyone knows someone who cycles so it is best to keep it safe.

  5. I'm sorry but what they told you about the jewish history makes no sense. There was no jewish quarter in Girona (actually in the whole country of Spain) during the WWII. The jewish quarter of Girona disappeared at the end of the Middle Ages, in the year 1492. I guess that the lady mistook with the dates.

  6. If there were an award for best YouTube Miniseries, you would win it! These have been absolutely great. I will be sorry to see you head home (but probably not as sorry as you!).
