January 5, 2026 — Days of uninterrupted heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures across northern and northeastern Scotland have severely disrupted daily life in the region. Most educational institutions have been closed as a precaution, while widespread disruptions have affected both road and air transportation. In areas including Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Moray, the Highlands, Orkney, and Shetland, snow depth has reached between 30 and 50 centimeters, with temperatures dropping as low as minus 9 degrees Celsius in some locations. As warnings issued by the Met Office remain in effect, delays, cancellations, and service disruptions continue due to ice and ongoing snow accumulation.

  1. are the flights delayed by more than 56 minutes? …at OSLO there are simply a few delays but all planes are taking off and landing as normal ..SNOW OR NO SNOW

  2. How much are these clips modified by AI ww have no idea, but for sure all cars are on the wrong side of the street for Scotland!?? 😮
So please show the genuine material instead.

  3. It happens in Scotland,I lived in the Forth Valley for 11 years we got this every winter, had to dig our way out at the front and back doors..it was awful to drive in…

  4. We always make a big deal out of any snow here in Aberdeenshire, yet many other countries who have it much colder and with far more snow just get on with life. Major snow and temperatures up to -33 deg C in late October until March in Norway, back in the late 80's,(near Lillehammer) and it was just normal.

  5. Thank you for admitting the thumbnail is bullshit. The majority of creators don't get that viewers find them annoying. BTW, bad weather in Scotland in winter is quite normal and not unusual. 👍 Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

  6. Am in Perth 100 miles from my farm in Aberdeenshire and no snow here and plenty of milk in the shops and i have been told we have 2 and a half feet of snow at the fram. The guy that is speaking, i think is from the USA or Canada and thinks he is speaking about Aberdeen in the USA because he certainly doesn't know where Scotland is.
