New Orleans needs a bike park – our cycling community has nowhere to ride safely

New Orleans has an amazing cycling community, but we don't have a single dedicated bike park within city limits. Riders practicing wheelies, dirt jumping, and mountain biking have no safe space to develop their skills or just enjoy their passion.

I started a petition asking the City of New Orleans to create a bike park that serves our diverse cycling community. We have plenty of vacant land and unused buildings that could be transformed into something incredible – a place where families, friends, and solo riders can gather for exercise and fun.

Other cities our size have proven these parks boost local economies, increase property values, and give youth a positive outlet. What's your experience trying to find good places to ride in the city? If this matters to you too, consider signing and sharing.
