Trail conditions from Redlands to Big Bear and Joshua Tree after rains? Bikepacking on hardtail.

Someone just told me that the trail from Redlands to Big Bear and Joshua Tree was damaged after the last storm. Anybody have an update? Doing the route below in reverse, starting in San Bernardino/LA.
