I have restored 20 vintage Schwinns to mint. Never seen one with so many number stamps. Even IF it was a Schwinn, if you offered it to me for $20, I’d pass. Needs a thorough regrease of BB, Steering, axles, and requires fresh tires. After all that it’s worth *maybe* $100. Sorry.

Interesting frame design. Put a cute basket on the front since it’s a “lady’s” bike and someone might like it, I mean if the coaster brake works it’s nearly as good as a new single speed beach cruiser but with vintage charm

  3. It would be incredibly valuable to someone who does not possess a bicycle and is unable to obtain one.

Skip-link chain – classic, pre 1950s, I would repack all the bearings, cause you may never get parts for it at a later date

That chain and crankset sets that bike to be a pre-war…definately if the chain is not like any modern chain…like wider and the pitch longer.

I’d keep it, until you get to know much more about it.

Check what type of hubs it has…that will give you a clue to its age.

Like if it has a set of “New Departure” model D hubs…there are earlier models of those old hubs like model A and B and C (?)…before model D’s, it would be a bike from the mid to late 1920’s.

Model D’s were made in the 1930’s…I think around 1933 or 34…

  6. You may get some interest if you tie it back to the Wizard of Oz. It looks very similar to the wicked witch/Miss Gulch bike from the film. I recommend exploring that angle/ niche.
