I’m on my way to what might be the world’s most accessible beach! ♿️🏖️

But first, I have to prove my disability!

Join me at an accessible beach in Nice, France, where I’ll be rolling down MobiMats, using beach wheelchairs, and exploring a space designed for everyone to enjoy the sand and sea. 🌊💙

📍 Handi Plage, Antibes Juan les Pins Imagine if every beach around the world was like this! And did I mention this service is FREE?

👏 Big thanks to @AntibesJuanLesPins and the @RegionSud government for leading the way in beach access and inclusion. How amazing would it be to see this everywhere?

Know any other accessible beaches? Drop them in the comments! And if you believe every beach should be as accessible as this one, SHARE this video!

  1. I grew up with a father that had polio, paraplegic in a wheelchair. So many times, he took us to the beach or other vacation spots and had to just sit in the car and watch us play. So this video made me emotional as well.

  2. Here in Fuengirola Spain we have specific areas for wheelchairs etc, it has an area of shade on wooden boards, and wooden paths and special chairs to go in the sea with assistants Helping

  3. This is amazing – I feel your joy! It's been many years since I've been able to access the ocean. Apparently there are a number of similar accessible beaches around Barcelona

  4. We have this at our beach in Fl 5 minutes from my house. I was surprised to see it. The same mats go all the way to the. Water. No reservations needed. Open 24/7

  5. Your videos came up in my algorithm, today, and I'm so glad. You never know if you'll be in a car accident, have a sudden illness, or your whole life. It doesn't just mean elderly at all anymore. I am in the US, where for the m9st part ADA accessible is mandatory. Ive been temporarily affected in my strength of walking after muscle loss, and am exactly learning and seeing all the challenges you go through on a daily basis. In Europe, I still fear to go to get my mother buried. Just as in Palermo and Tunisia, STAIRS everywhere, no lift or a mile away like you experienced or out of order. Even, in the newly renovated train stations. Lots of cobbles, uneven pavement. Great youre posting, showing the reality even for a young, fit guy like you. Keep up the GREAT work and fight for advocacy! ❤

  6. IF you come to sweden you Will see almost everywar is accessible. Its a law here on public places. IF not place get heavy tickets. Sadly the law is not on beach so not every 1 have accessible to them but thay have accessible toalett.

  7. Thank you so much for sharing this information. Headed to Nice in a few weeks and was struggling to figure out where the accessible beaches are. I found one in Nice near us, but did not look anywhere as amazing as the one in Antibes you visited. So will definitely be making a day trip. If that place is even half as amazing as you made it look, then they will be dragging my chair away at sunset. Also thank you for the links to where to reserve too; I could not find it for hours. Will be following you from now on and hopefully learn about some more amazing places to visit in my chair. Your the BEST!
