The idea of a quasi-fairing for a commuter bike seems interesting in theory, but I feel like the price point won't be low enough for it to make sense over just a pair of basic racks.

  1. I don’t hate the concept but the looks really don’t do it for me. Don’t know why they picked fisher price aesthetic

It’s been “coming soon” for at least the past three months. Edit: actually four, I first saw this in September. It does look interesting but, damn, they are slow to deliver a pricing list.

  3. Yes, I’ve seen this goofy thing repeatedly. They fact that they don’t allow comments on their posts kind of says it all. They know its a shitshow.

I don’t know what problem there is, or what unmet need there is, that they are trying to solve. My normal bicycle light works fantastic. It doesn’t need some massive McDonald’s playroom looking hunk of plastic around it. Similarly, my more typical racks and single helmet mounted mirror do what I need them to do. The whole concept strikes me as just another one of the endless parade of goofy product ideas that people who almost never rode a bicycle are constantly coming up with and posting to the various bicycling subreddits.

What’s the point other than it being a big sail to slow you down? This would catch a cross wind too. Not to mention it looks heavy. The goofy giant light. The list goes on

I like the idea of making your bike look like a motorcycle to drivers from a distance. then again prob won’t help them not kill you so, withdrawn.

I have no earthly idea what problem this could possibly try to solve. It’s taking up valuable real estate that could be used by a front rack/basket. Is it a giant light? If so, why do I need a giant light? My handlebar mounted USB light is more than bright enough. And it has mirrors? Why? How well will it handle a fall?

Bicycles don’t have fairings for a reason, motorcycles and bicycles are not the same.

Fantastic device, looks like it was designed specifically to increase aerodynamic drag…
