Happy new year!! 🎉
6:40 Meanwhile some cities across Europe choose to abandon trolleybuses (they were equipped with batteries though) for purely battery-powered buses. What a pity!
So many trams today!
Amazing video (as always)
Where’s the SRL news?
Happy New Year City for All!
I really like how each tram line in Montpellier has a livery theme. It's easy to recognize which tram runs on which line, and makes for colorful streets.
Stuttgart21 was long and difficult, but they really are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel now.
Plus, one has to admit that it looks great, and in a few years most people will probably be happy to have a brand new and majestic main station instead of remembering the time it took.
Best wishes, better transit and cities for everyone!
The Warsaw extension sounds incredibly expensive for less than 3km of track and five stops. I'm guessing the bulk of that went on the new tram vehicles that you mentioned were included in that cost? But even then…half a BILLION euro?! That's the same price as the new 17km tram line in Montpellier!
That no 5 tram would have helped with my commute!
11.3 billion euros would be mindblowing trmandoues to much in Germany 😀 German Million and English million is the same but after Million in German comes Milliarde with nine 0s and Billion hast ten 0s in German 😛
And where is Saint Petersburg?!
may this be a good year for public transport and cities in general 🙏🏼
Maybe we should do one for north america.. Everyday little Bits of Awesome get built with no news
You didn’t actually show much of new tracks on Rakowiecka but instead the section that has always been there. The only shot of the new tracks is the one with the green tracks. Also small correction, there was only a single new tram stop pair built, called “Mokotów – Ratusz” and three additional platforms were added to already existing junctions. I just think it should be clarified because 5 new stops sounds like they build 5 completely new stop pairs along the route.
PKP has signed a contract for new high speed trains.
Morale, Poland is financed by the EU so our taxes…. 😂
Thank you so much for your videos. I heard that in Southern Italy, in the town Catanzaro a metro-like line was opened. Maybe you can use this information in one of your next fantastic videos. Thank you for all what you are doing.😊
Visited Montpellier this week. It's delightful. Massive and very impressive urbanism progress visible all over
Trams trams trams! Yes please 🙂
In Greece Hellenic Train has ordered 23 6-car alstom Cordia stream trains for intercity and regional service for some reason the top speed is 160km/h but the top track speed is 200km/h and Greece currently has rolling stock capable of 200km/h
Thank you very much!
Thank you for this very interesting first 2026s episode, and Happy New Year ! Thanks for all your work !
Ladies and gentlemen, this is 0:21
In 2014 I was in Motpellier on summer practices in one of the university near Agropolis. Nice to see that the tramway finally got there!
Thank you as always 🎉 bliadhna mhath ùr 😊
Happy new year 🍀
Fajnie jakby doszło do zamontowania na przystanku w tunelu Wisłostrady szyb i drzwi dźwiękoszczelnych, bo byśmy mieli to rozwiązanie w Polsce dla autobusów przed metrem 😆
Lot of tram news, I like it! 🙂
Thanks for the great video.
Damn, Rostok has 65 Kilometers of tram tracks, 6 lines and still only hoping for 20 percent public transit usage!
6:22 "not sure if this path is correct" – almost!
on urbanrail, you can check the map on the upper left corner : )
Love that you gave us a update on Stuttgart. Would love for more news on the big projects, just minor news about how the construction is going, and if something unexpected happens.
Happy New Year! Thank you for your videos.
A very Europe episode
Happy new year! It's always a joy when you upload!
Trump was the anti-war candidate BTW
Keep an eye out for Melbourne Australia in the coming months! The Alstom Xtrapolis 2 trains and Skoda ‘G Class’ trams are being rolled out Early 2026.
I am shocked with the expenses that You are talking about! From hundreds of millions to billions of euros! Why does it have to cost so much? Great video btw…
Excellent!!
