Had to replace the tires and our shop nearby didn’t have anything close to the originals.
The pegs are odyssey and not stock GT. Still rides smooth, apparently it’s a solid throwback so just wanted to share!

Nice, I used to have a red one that looked like black paint was flicked on it. I remember riding wheelies on that for blocks.

I had the same bike in 1987, when I was 15. Same lavender color and everything.

I special-ordered this bike months before it became available, and I broke my thumb in the meantime. The bike finally arrived only a few minutes before the hospital called to remind me of my upcoming thumb surgery appointment.
Well, I thought it was a reminder, anyways. I was so excited about the bike that I wasn’t paying attention and it turns out that they were actually *rescheduling* the surgery. So, me and my mom showed up to the hospital at the wrong time.
Now you gotta get out there and break the ice!
