Discover the best food in Wrexham as I take on a full food tour of the city and hit three of its most talked-about spots. If you’re hunting for where to eat in Wrexham, this video is your ultimate guide to proper local grub.
First stop is Priory Café, a no-nonsense institution serving some of the best chips in the UK. This place doesn’t mess about; it’s old-school, honest cooking done right. I tuck into their legendary plates and find out why everyone in Wrexham rates it so highly.
Next up is Safar, a Mediterranean grill that’s taken the town by storm. Think flame-kissed meats, massive portions and flavours that go way beyond your usual takeaway. I dive into their signature grill to rate it.
Then it’s on to Dead Good Scran, where smoked barbecue meats are stacked into beautiful sandwiches. This is proper comfort food, brisket, pulled pork, the lot, and easily one of the most exciting new spots in Wrexham right now.
Throughout the tour I explore the streets and get a feel for what Wrexham’s food scene is really like. Whether you’re visiting, studying or just after the top places to eat in Wrexham, this video sorts you out with the essentials

The fact I've lived in Wrexham for 40 years and have never been to any of these places 😂
I know The kid That works in dead good scran
Great video, and thanks for coming!
Town is definitely slowly improving since the takeover, as I believe it would be in a much worse state without. Many factors to blame including just less people go now (like most towns in the UK unfortunately) and that eagles meadow should never have been built… but I’ll leave that. But People now wanting to come is only going to improve it further! Anyway once again great vid 👍
What's the name of the band you were in? Any footage / music available online ?
Safar is great food and service , been there a few times. Should try Reggie's great traditional cafe and baker
loved this my home town(city) the priory caff has been going for omg so many yrs, used to be taken there as a child, I am in my 60s now, i loved the down to earth approach you take to your channel, I can see your a proper foody , enjoy and thanks for sharing
Stay the same with the format plesse! You’re unique!!
Love the video, keep it up the way u feel works best. Also Central was upstairs when u look at the signs its now the Rocking Chair.
People amd food is a great format love to hear the stories behind it. Obviously if no one can go on camera it is still goid to show food. When ive been wrexham ive only ended up in nandos lol so still interesting
Just keep doing what you're doing it works and is why we follow and support you. Places you visit it's about the people as much as it is about the food it works and always great to hear the owners speak too, gives you vibes makes you want to visit and that is all down to you mate!
Went to Dead Good Scran again today, 3rd time going and just as good. If anything the brisket is better now! Epic place, hope they do well.
Cheers for checking us out, we've got a few more really good places to try if you come back again.
Yep it was called central station.
I live i gresford in Wrexham
Oh I live here, hope you enjoyed our food
Your main differentiator from other channels is the fact that you talk to the owners and tour the kitchen. I love it! Food review only channels can get a little samey. The context and the history you bring is your usp. Please don't change!!
Don’t change the format! Not that I don’t like you.. just enjoy hearing the stories ❤
Good video, love the way you try and speak to the owners and share their story rather than just making a typical TikTok style of food review. I may have to pop into Wrexham soon to check out Dead Good Scran it looked banging! 1 new sub for you ❤
Eddies chippy when that was about was unreal you’d have enjoyed the chicken curry mate. Nice to see you at my birthing place and not getting harassed by the sesh demons 😂
u do small towns like cheadle hulme too ? 😄
The Priory Cafe used to be alot better but they recently sold it to new owners it used to be family owned and the chips were so much better then they are now. Appreciate you showing off our local food
Hickories has lost its way food has gone down hill. The only people that go there is to celebrate something it’s way too expensive as well.
The rockin chair used to be central🤘
