Sounds like a manufacturing flaw in the blueprint of god's own handiwork, as opposed to the product being the problem itself.
But did god not realized that one day his creations would grow a conscious, let alone independent desires of their own? Including, but not limited to, the surpassing of that of god, himself?
Not to mention, being the almighty, all-knowing, "perfect" deity that god is, did he not also taken into consideration that maybe, just MAYYYBE, that his imposed "love" on his creations, isn't actual true love? But rather, FORCED coddling?

When we control and balance the darkness and light within us, is when we “graduate” in the eyes of Jesus and God.
It is the key to heaven. I’ll probably spend my life reminding people of this because to gain control of One’s darkness is honestly the key to having a happy life. Which took me 31 years to learn….. but at least my oldest daughter is only 7 so I’ve learned all that I needed in good time I guess.

i think the story is misunderstood pop culture. lucifer thought(past tense) to be above god, which suggests an instance or event being referred to.
Think about it this way. Lucifer was his closest and most perfect angel. Then god creates us and tells the angels that we are above them. THEN lucifer rebels. So lucifer didnt hate God, he hated god's creation. Which was set to be above him. So lucifer falls and sets out to prove that humanity is not worthy of god. and god allows this. Multiple times in the stories, god debates with lucifer and allows lucifer to plead his case and attempt to prove it. This is seen in the book of Job, even in the story of Christ. But in both instances, humanity proves themselves worthy of God, and through Christ, find eternal salvation from the sins that lucifer had tempted humanity into.
The spiritual war isnt between Satan overthrowing god and god defending his kingdom, its a debate as to whether or not humanity is worthy of gods kingdom. Satan seeks to prove not, God knows we are.

You see Satan failed in this way. He thought of God's throne as a position to claim. What he didn't understand was that God is who he is and he can not stop being God.
