  1. You need to get the idea of balance BEFORE you try to pedal. Find a flat area that’s paved or a grassy park with a very slight downhill. Think of it like a scooter at first and just try to coast but keep your balance. Look up You Tube vids of kids on Strider bikes. Once you can confidently keep your balance and manage turns—add in the pedaling…. I’m so excited for you! Cycling has been part of my life for 40+ yrs—-you are at just the beginning of so many adventures!!!!
