Hi! I am mostly a MTBiker, although I own a GR020 frame (more a CX than a Gravel Bike) I did not follow the released of open mold frames lately so I would need a bit of help! 😅
I am searching for a Gravel frame for my girlfriend, it will be her first bike with roady handlebar and I am not sure she will like it, so I plan to build her a cheap bike. Here are the requests :
– she is a bit on the light/small side (1m55) and I fear an alloy frame will be too harsh, so I would prefer a frame with more flex, small seatpost etc…
– we will not use large tire (40mm probably, max 45mm) as the bike will see more road and smooth path (she has a MTB already that she likes), which add to the need of a flexible frame
– internal routing if possible as she likes the clean look (and I built numerous bikes so it will not be an issue for me)
– not too racy geometry but a long reach and trail would be nice to have a calm and predictable steering I think
She tried a Scott Speedster which was ok for her (but a bit heavy/harsh), so I think a size 49 will be ok
I saw the BXT 135, Seraph GR048 in some posts that looked really good and seems to be easily available in Europe. Are there more suitable options?
