I picked this up from my favorite local community bike shop. It was in very rough shape as you can see, but the important parts were good. The frame is actually in pretty good shape. The drop bars are from My Kona Jake that I converted to single speed. I decided to put the original Kona bars back on the Jake when converting so that I could really stand up and crank up hills when needed as these are a pretty shallow drop. The bars on this bike are PNW Coast 48cm which are pretty wide, but fit between the tightest spaced trees if I am careful. I have the original Specialized Scraxle front wheel with radial lacing which I will install once I find new sealed bearings and get them pressed in. It is 3×9 with a larger rear cassette and a derailleur hanger extender. It is a lot of fun and only really needs some harder elastomers which I will order soon.

Looks great! What front light is that?
Hell yea the light is great, its OEM from china but it runs great
That was an impressive amount of rot! Nice job! How are your brakes feeling with the gravel-agents?
Nice restoration! I’m also planning on doing a dropbar 3×9. Which brifters did you go with? As far as I could tell my options are either ultegra st-6500, st-6510 or dura ace st-7700.
