This bike is currently listed near me and I am considering buying it. Would there be anyway for me to attach this double basket to it? I am a beginner and am just looking for something to take to leisurely ride at the park with my kids.

The vintage of that bike is (roughly) 1975-1980. I have the exact same bike, other than mine has a top tube, instead of the step thru. Purchased my suburban around 1976.
You may have another set of eyelets down by the dropouts for the basket, I can’t tell from the picture.
You would definitely need some p-clamps to connect the rack to the seatstays.
The price should be about ~$50 for the bike, anything above that is overpaying.
